The Acousticrats @ Nardi’s (11/27-Sat)
Josh, Jeff, John Hawes, and I rocked the venue with some country, rock, and bluegrass tunes right up to 1:30am.

The Acousticrats @ Patrick’s Grille (11/26-Fri “Black Friday”)
Josh, Bobby, Jeff, and I did the traditional “single mic” bluegrass setup and performed acoustic country, rock, and bluegrass tunes. (An event I hope you did not miss.) We had some old-to-modern country favorites, and some traditional bluegrass tunes. Even if that’s not your kind of genre, the melodies were recognizable for sure. We also featured some classic rock and folk tunes from artists such as Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Eagles, Gordon Lightfoot, and Jimmy Buffett – acoustic renditions of music you just don’t hear this side of the Shark River (unless you’ve heard us before). All performed acoustically on guitar, dobro, banjo, fiddle, upright bass, and harmonica.

Wednesday (Thanksgiving Eve), 11/24
The Acousticrats @ Blackdog 7 Stools (6pm-10pm)
Josh and friends rock Blackdog 7 Stools. I’ll be there rockin’ the harps with Josh, Jimmy Heffernan (pedal steel – Brad Paisley’s band), John Hawes (drums), and Jeff (upright bass). Josh is advertising a “special surprise”, so you’ll have to come on out to find out. As usual, see my calendar for any immediate updates.

Dockside Brothers Duo Debut @ Sunsets
Jeff Propert and I have been doing a few duos in LBI, and now we take the project by name and will be performing at Sunsets in Neptune as the “Dockside Brothers”. We hope you can join us.

Attend Bluegrass Show @ Albert Hall (11/20-Sat)
My buddy Jeff Propert was performing with the Last Whipperwill Band and I had to check it out. Butch met up with me and we grabbed a seat before the band made the stage. Some of our friends John & Toni, and John Hawes were in attendance. At the end of the night, the Pinelands Cultural Society handed out a special gift to any veteran who was in the audience that evening.
