Spring is in full swing with continuing gigs featuring the Tommy Gannon Duo and Trio. Spring also means “outside” with “weather permitting” shows. This includes a full day running sound for one of the venues at the Tuckerton Porchfest. Josh Werner and I have gigs at No. 79 and the Dockside Cafe (outside). Tommy Gannon and I will also make an appearance at the Belmar Porchfest. Review the content below, knowing there’s plenty more on it’s way. Josh and I will be jammin’ at this cool place along the water. Make your way to the Smithville area, and enjoy drink, food, and the view as we provide the musical backdrop. Most of the time I’m just sitting in, but this will be a full-throttle duo. The venue is partially under cover, so you’ll be safe from a sprinkle or two.

Tuckerton Porchfest @ Southern Ocean Animal Hospital (11am – 4:00pm)

I’ll have a dual role for the “Tuckerton Porchfest” – join me on the “Southern Ocean Animal Hospital” porch where I’ll be running the sound for all the artists that day beginning at 11am. I’ll also be joining Jimmy Brogan on harmonica and vocals for his set from 1:10pm to 1:40pm on some tunes. I hope you can attend our location at some point during the day. I might be a bit busy setting up each act, but be sure to “wave” hello if you do stop by.

Josh Werner & Friends @ Skinny Dennis, Brooklyn (9pm – Midnight)

I’m hitching a ride to the Brooklyn to jam in a New York location that’s becoming a notable event in our calendars each year. This Mother’s Day, Josh (guitar/vocals), Jeff (bass/vocals), and I (harmonica/vocals) will be creating some country music magic joined by our friend Liam (pedal steel) and the talented Jamil (drums). Traditional country is the theme, but there sure will be some later familiar country, bluegrass, and Grateful Dead tunes. Come out to hear something will definitely tickle your ear holes. Hope to see you there.
