Thursday, January 25th
The Dockside Brothers @ Josie Kelly’s (6pm – 9pm)
Yes, this is a last minute post! We’re heading to Garden State Parkway Exit #30 for another visit to Somers Point for the Tommy Allen Jr. series at Josie Kelly’s. Once again The Dockside Brothers are the guest duo featuring Jeff Propert. We hope Jeff and I can entice you out for some great food & drink in a fun and cozy Irish-themed atmosphere. Of, don’t forget, we’ll be rockin’ you with some awesome acoustic tunes.
Jeff will be leading the music on guitar, mandolin, and vocals. I’ll be accompanying him on harmonica, guitar, and vocals as well. Tommy will return next week with Jeff Propert. Hope to see you there.

Saturday, February 3rd (2024)
Pizza Bowl IV @ Redds In East Rutherford (12pm To 7pm)
Once again, I’ll be running the backline and playing a little harp with Aloha Monkey as we join in hosting Pizza Bowl IV with Guy Madsen. Guy is returning as coordinator and emceeing the event. On-hand will be special guests like last year judging the competition and sharing the entertainment stage. Think about grabbing your tickets as soon as you can. They are on Eventbrite.
Last year I had the opportunity to meet up with Stephen Baker “The Touchdown Maker” from the NY Giants and hangout for a photograph featuring his Super Bowl XXV ring. In addition, I also had the opportunity to jam with rock-n-roll legend Eddie Brigati of the Young Rascals. I’m sure you guessed it. I got to lay down that harmonica riff while Aloha Monkey and Eddie performed “Groovin'”. You can read all about last year’s event along with videos and photos ⇉ CLICK HERE ⇇.
This year will be even more exciting and feature special rock n’ roll legends sitting in with the Aloha Monkey band. Slated to appear will be members of the Smithereens and the return of Eddie Brigati singing that smash hit “Groovin'” (along with other Rascal hits). Opening the event with acoustic music will be Mark Byrnes from the She Said No band. Judges will include comedian Julia Scotti and Telina Vincenza Cuppari (Guinness Book of Records Holder).
