Lakeside Diner Morning Jam, Every Sunday
Come on out to the Lakeside Diner in Forked River with Josh, Jeff, Kerry and I from 10am to 1pm. We jam on some bluegrass and country tunes for the waiting customers. That’s you! If the indoor seating area is a bit crowded for your liking, sit and listen (and watch) in your warm vehicle to the live tunes on 87.7 FM. Sometimes the weather throws us a curve ball. If we know it’s gonna be a problematic day “weather-wise”, we’ll move the jam to the Saturday before. Simply check my calendar for details.
“Blackdog Jam” @ Blackdog (AKA 7 Stools) in Tuckerton, Every Monday
This “All Star” jam happens every Monday from 6pm-10pm. Hosted by the proprietors Chris and Cortney, this jam will feature core talented regulars with amazing guests. It’s free to all who attend (no cover charge). Note that during COVID-19 restrictions, seating may be limited. Of course musicians are welcome, however, this is not an open jam. The jam is by invite only. Musicians desiring to be in future line-ups must contact Josh Werner. For additional information, you may contact me as well.
The Acousticrats @ Garden State Distillery in Toms River, Every 1st Sunday
Join Josh, Jeff, Kerry and I for some bluegrass (with some hot bourbon cider) the first Sunday of each month at Garden State Distillery from 1 to 4pm. Cozy table top, booth, and lounge areas for enjoying the establishment’s spirits and local order-in cuisine with a backdrop of live entertainment.

Guest Appearance Jam w/ Josh, Jeff, & Jimmy @ Blackdog (7 Stools) (02/20-Sat)
I finally got to jam with Jimmy Brogan. How cool is that?! What a fun night. Thank you all who attended, and a special thanks to those put a little something in the tip jar. Your generosity was overwhelming and much appreciated (more than you may know). I’m looking forward to doing this again with Jimmy and the cast of “Acousticrats” regulars.
