End Of August 2020 Gigging
What’s Up So Far
The end of August has been a pretty active period for outdoor music. I had some shows at The Waterfont in Forked River, The Cabin in Freehold, MJ’s in Bayville, the Windward Tavern in Brick, a sit-in at Cornerstone Kitchen & Tap in Jackson, and last night at Delvetto’s Pizzeria & Pub in Neptune. MJ’s held a fun pet rescue event that we, as the Brue Crew, had the pleasure in providing the musical backdrop. As usual we’re bound by what Mother Nature has in store, so a few shows not listed above had to be postponed or canceled.
It was great to catch The Bob Gilmartin & Dave Stefanic Duo, Undisputed Duo, Todd Robbins, Skinny Amigo, and Aloha Monkey while I was gallivanting on my time off. Undisputed Duo called me up to sit-in on a few of their last tunes. It’s always a pleasure to rock out with Frankie and Jason.
Gigs Into September
Today (8/28) I’ll be jammin’ with Johnny Brue in a Duo at River Rock (starting 2pm). Then on Saturday there’s two private gigs with the Brue Crew if the weather holds out. Then on Monday I’m with Josh Werner and Bobby at Buckalew’s starting @ 6:30pm. The following day and onward it’s Brue Crew gigs at 9th Avenue Pier, Maggie’s, and The Waterfront. Look for my next post (next week) about what’s in store for the first week in September and Labor Day Weekend.
As Always
My calendar is always up-to-date. So the best way to tune into what I’m doing, check out my calendar.
