Tunes By the Dunes w/ Jimmy Brogan @ Holgate (6:30pm To 8:30pm)
Kyle & I are joining Jimmy Brogan for an acoustic evening of music by the sea. The show is free to attend and sponsored by local LBI businesses. Attendees should bring their own beach chairs to park in the sand, plus snacks and beverages. The stage is southern end of Long Beach Boulevard parking lot.

Josh Werner & Friends @ Dockside Cafe (4:00pm To 8:00pm)
Jeff has returned from his ultra-secret Summer hideaway and is itching to rock out on some tunes at the Dockside Cafe in Little Egg Harbor. I’m sure you’re itching to join us as well for cocktails, appetizers, and renditions of the music you love. And not to mention the backdrop of Tuckerton Cove and great friends. The weather is just right for a relaxing Sunday along the water.

Wow, it was a fun Saturday and I was invited to be a part of the show. I was able to provide the backline for an amazing group of musicians and even sit in on a few songs with my harmonicas and trumpet. I’ll let the Facebook photos and videos tell the story below.

E Boro Bandits @ Belmar Public Library (6:00pm To 8:00pm)
Cool news! I got a call from Jonny Kumfert, “Are you free to join us at the Belmar Public Library?” It just so happens I am. I’ll be laying down some harp on the E Boro Bandit’s tunes at this free show. Rumor has it that it’s now a 9-piece band. This should be a fun one, so pack a small cooler, bring your beach chair or blanket, and join us at the bottom of the steps on the front lawn!

Guest Hosting “Jersey Shore Jams” Original Artist Series @ Headliner (7:00pm To 10:00pm)
I’ll be guest hosting the “Jersey Shore Jams” original artist night at the Headliner. This is an event I’ve been looking forward to for several weeks. Original music is where I started out sitting in on harmonica. Paul Marzano, the primary host, will be away for this one but he’s given me pointers on keeping the week-to-week theme and vibe flowing. And of course, I’ll be teamed up with the co-Host Kelly Kachmar who’ll be on-hand to document the night with photos and video. Join me for an evening with five super-cool acts of amazing talent.

Acousticrats (7-Piece) @ 68th Street “Firepit Friday” Concert (7:00p To 9:00pm)
The Acousticrats will rockin’ LBI’s “Firepit Friday” Concert Series at 68th St Beach. It will feature multi-talented musicians playing pedal steel, fiddle, banjo, guitar, upright bass, harmonica, mandolin, percussion, and drums. I’ll be joining forces with Josh Werner, Jeff Propert, Toni Teschner, Bobby Baxmeyer, Jack Stanton, and Steve Schupsky. From 7:00pm to 9:00pm, we’ll be cranking out an array of country, classic rock, folk, and bluegrass tunes in #LBI #BrantBeach. With Venus Moon Arts & Entertainment on sound, it’s an event you didn’t want to miss.

I was able to crank out three cover tunes and two more towards the end. Also had the opportunity to play a little harp on the “Coyote Jack” song “Love Is Love” and on LaSala’s rendition of a “Pirate Looks At Forty”.
