It’s the first full month of Spring and this month has an even more diverse of live music gigs with the “Tommy Gannon Trio” and shows with Josh Werner & Jeff Propert. They’re all spread over the Monmouth and Ocean counties. Stayed tuned to this April page for the latest scoop, there’s plenty of content coming. The trio hits Maggie’s Tiki* for our first visit of 2026. A great show to meet some our Western Ocean County and Parrot Head peeps who find this a favorite Our next show is Anchor Tavern. It’s always a cool vibe playing this venue and fun local hang with a welcoming atmosphere. Join us for tunes, out-of-this-world rotisserie chicken, and cocktails.

Saturday, May 2nd – Sound

Tuckerton Porchfest @ Southern Ocean Animal Hospital (11am – 4:00pm)

I’ll have a dual role for the “Tuckerton Porchfest” – join me on the “Southern Ocean Animal Hospital” porch where I’ll be running the sound for all the artists that day beginning at 11am. I’ll also be joining Jimmy Brogan on harmonica and vocals for his set from 1:10pm to 1:40pm on some tunes. I hope you can attend our location at some point during the day. I might be a bit busy setting up each act, but be sure to “wave” hello if you do stop by.

This is a “weather permitting” show. If the rain holds out, Josh & I will be performing at this super fun tiki bar along inter-coastal waters. It’ll be our first Dockside show of 2026. Hope you can join us!

This show is open to the public! The Tommy Gannon Trio will be performing at the Mantoloking Road Alehouse for the Coastal Jersey Parrot Head Club (CJPHC) Happy Hour. The featured 50/50 non-profit fundraiser of the day will be for the club itself. Join us for our debut with the club and venue!

Josh Werner & Friends Lakeside Diner Reunion @ Black Dog Bar (7pm To 10pm)

It’s the “Lakeside Diner Reunion” show featuring Josh Werner, Jeff Propert, John Hanney (me), Will Pable, and Kerry Sneddon. We’re reuniting to celebrate our past shows where live music found it’s home under the cover of a tent during COVID. On mostly Sunday mornings, from the Fall of 2020 through the Summer of 2022, our acoustic sessions would tickle the ears of the diner patrons visiting for breakfast or brunch.

Today at Blackdog / 7 Stools, we’ll present the same common line-up performing tunes you would have heard at the diner along some of our new favorites. Also back by popular demand is the “The Moz Pit” food truck dishing up pizza. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I’ll be performing with the Coyote Jack Band for the “3rd Annual Music For A Cause” event in Manahawkin. The event runs from 1pm to 5pm, and the Coyote Jack Band hits the stage at 2pm for about an hour. This money raising event supports children at risk in the South Jersey community.
